The 2008 Redwood Family Senior Camp will be held from Tuesday September 2nd to Friday September 5th.

This year our Senior Camp ministers will be Warren and Charlene Parker. Warren and Charlene Parker have pastored several churches in Northern and Southern California during the 42 years they have been married. As a missionary and missionary evangelist Rev. Parker has traveled to 36 countries, some of them numerous times. Spending 7 weeks in the Ukraine helping establish a new church with the converts from a tent revival was one of the highlights in their ministry abroad.

Rev. Parker graduated from Bethany Bible College with further studies at Sacramento State College and the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary. Charlene also went to Bethany, as did their two sons.

Rev. Parker has a long history in the Assemblies of God as his parents Ted & Mabel Parker attended Glad Tidings Bible Institute in 1923-1924 and built and pastored several churches in California. The Parkers will also be ministering in music; Charlene is a gifted pianist and Warren plays the guitar and trombone and ministers in singing. Presently, the Parkers are involved in evangelistic ministry. Charlene presently serves as the Women’s Ministry Rep for the Lassen-Plumas Section.

Your pets are welcomed but because of problems in past years we have had to establish some guidelines for pets during our camps. All dogs must have a current license and you must have proof of proper vaccination. You are responsible to control your pet on a leash at all times and to walk dogs only in the designated area. Dogs will not be allowed to disturb other guests or services. If you can not control your pet you will be asked to remove it from the campground. There are boarding facilities available in the area for your convenience.
