Growing up in a broken and
violent home, much of Ioannis' childhood was filled with chaos and
pain. At the age of 15 he found himself without parents and on
the brink of committing suicide. In the back of a pickup truck
meandering down a windy back road in Oregon, Ioannis experienced an
all consuming love he had never felt before. God met with him in
a powerful way and Ioannis put his trust in the Lord that night.
Later that year Ioannis received the call to ministry and began to
preach at the age of sixteen.
After being loved and taken in by a Godly Christian family, Ioannis
eventually attended Bethany University's School of the Bible in
Scott's Valley, California. It was here that the vision for
S.E.N.T. Ministries was birthed in Ioannis. It began as a
student lead ministry of
Bethany
University
; traveling
Northern California
preaching, teaching, and doing other various forms of ministry.
Ioannis graduated from
Bethany
University
earning a bachelor’s degree in Church Leadership with a minor in
Psychology. Soon thereafter he was credentialed to be a
minister with the Assemblies of God.
S.E.N.T. Ministries went dormant for a time after those college
years, though the vision for it raged on. In 2003, Ioannis
began again to rebirth that vision that had been with him for so
long. Today, S.E.N.T. Ministries is a highly effective,
501c3 nonprofit, evangelistic organization making a difference in
the lives of multitudes. With a primary calling to preach and
teach, S.E.N.T. Ministries travels the nation ministering to and
helping people of all ages, races, and denominations.
Ioannis married Erica Gratsinopoulos in March of 2006. Erica
is a former high school science teacher of 9 years. She has
been involved in youth ministries, ran children's ministries, served
on several worship teams, and led women's bible studies. She
travels with Ioannis and is currently the S..E.N.T. Ministries
administrative director.
