This years evening speaker will be Pastor Scott Hagen, pastor of Mars
Hill church in Sacramento CA. He and his wife Karen have been in
ministry for 25 years. He will be ministering nightly starting on
Sunday, July 20 through Friday July 25th. The following information is
taken from their web site.
Scott and I were married in 1982 which means we're now at the 25
year mark!. We enjoy a great personal friendship and 4 fabulous children
(1 beautiful daughter and 3 huge sons). We stepped right-in to full time
ministry after getting married. It has included 6 1/2 years in San Jose
as youth pastors at Bethel Church, 12 years as planter and pastors of
Harvest Church in Elk Grove and 4 1/2 years in Michigan as pastors of a
great church called Grand Rapids First Assembly of God. Now were back
again in our passion as church planters here in Sacramento.
We love spending time with friends, family and going to sporting
events! Whether its a Kings game or high school game, it never gets old.
The goal we are most enthusiastic about is raising successful children
that love the Lord and know how to live life to its fullest.
We love watching movies that make a compelling point. "The Count of
Monte Cristo" "Pride and Prejudice" "Remember the
Titans" are some the family favorites. A couple of little known
facts about us is that Scott is directly related through his grandmother
on his mom's side to former president Harry S. Truman. Karen is the
first cousin of David Wilkerson who was renowned for the Movie "The
Cross and the Switchblade" back in the early 70's.
We both love to travel and speak in any setting where we can share about
the things God has put in our hearts. Scott has written three nationally
published books including a new children's book. He also has served as
an adjunct professor at North Central University in Minneapolis. Karen
published this year an exciting new tool for teaching people how to pray
the promises of the Bible called Dominion Cards (you can go to the
resource page on the website to find out more about all these books and
resources).
Our ministry passion is the local church. Our hope is to plant new
churches and raise up young leaders who can stay on track for a
lifetime. The kind of church that excites us most is the Church that
looks like heaven! Unity was the highest hope of Jesus for the Church.
"Lord, I pray they are one as we are one...that the world might
believe." We want to see that prayer answered in our lifetime.

Your Children will love the ministry of Robb and
Jacqui Dunham this year as they minister to the kids during the morning
and evening services.
Robb and Jacqui Dunham have a heart for
"Equipping the New Generation & Families with God's Word &
Power!" Each of us have many years of family and children's
ministries experience, including 14 years as Children's Pastors and
Early Childhood Ministries Directors, and Family Life Pastors, and 8
years as full time family and children's advocates, evangelists and
leadership trainers with a nationwide ministry called "SuperKidz
4 Christ!".
Robb is on staff as the Children's Pastor at an amazingly wonderful
church in the San Francisco Bay area called Church on the Hill. You can
visit them online at Church
on the Hill.
When people have THE WINNER, Jesus Christ, living within them, they are
winners, too! As our busy schedule at Church on the Hill allows, it is
our joy to conduct extended ministry events such as SuperFamily
Celebrations, SuperKidz Crusades, Camps, and SuperKidz VBS, as well as
single day/evening "Power Parenting" Seminars,
"Jump-Starting Your Children's Ministries" Seminars,
Teacher/Worker/Leader Enrichment, children's church, family services,
and school chapels and assemblies. Our ministry extends cross
denominationally as the Lord has allowed us to minister with churches
and organizations of the Assemblies of God, Open Bible, Independant
Fundamental Churches of America, the Vineyard, Evangelical Presbyterian,
Four Square Gospel, Baptist, Calvary Chapel, Nazarene, Church of God,
Mennonite, Evangelical Free, Lutheran, Christian Outreach Center, and
Methodist churches, and many interdenominational and non-denominational
churches. Robb holds a degree in psychology from Bethany College in
Santa Cruz, CA. Robb and Jacqui are freelance writers with works
published in children's church and children's Sunday School curriculum ,
books, and various magazines. Publishers include: CharismaLife,
Radiant Life, Group
Publishing, Ministries
Today Magazine, Vital
Ministry Magazine, Enrichment
Journal, Children's
Ministry Magazine, K.E.E.P.
Newsletter, and
One Way Street News. We have also recorded two children's
praise and worship CDs. We are frequent speakers at conferences and
seminars. We have two grown children (both of whom serve the Lord Jesus
Christ).

Ernie & Norma were married in 1963 where they are now pastor’s and will be celebrating
their 45th anniversary this May 27th.
Rev. Ernest & Norma Spears were elected as Pastor’s of Hughson Full Gospel Assembly of God
on January 3, 1972. He continues to serve that congregation today going on 37 years. He
has served the Northern California/Nevada District of the Assemblies of God as Youth Rep

Insurance Board until being elected as Presbyter of Central San Joaquin Section where he is
serving presently for the past 11 years.
We love serving together in ministry and have done so for over 43 years. Norma as the
churches music director is an accomplished pianist and has a real heart for music and
teaching others. We have a heart for the Pastor’s in our area and love to come along side
of them as well a growing passion to serve the Lord. Ernie is also very involved in the
community of Hughson, where he has served on many boards and committee’s as well police
Chaplain for 17 years. This past year 2007 at Hughson’s Centennial Celebration He was
honored as Citizen of the year.
We love spending time with our two children and our 4 grandchildren, as well as traveling
and camping, we love going to NASCAR with our children, grandchildren and friends
(Especially Tom & Linda Galovich). Norma is an avid Pepsi collector for over 35 years and
Ernie has a sports collection with some one of a kind item which keeps them busy while
traveling.
Remember that the days for 2008 Redwood Family Camp
have changed and we will start camp on Saturday Evening with a Fried
Chicken Dinner and good old fashioned Southern Gospel concert featuring
the Golden State Quartet. We hope that everyone will be able to stay for
all the services which end on Friday night this year, and then be able
to relax and be back in their home churches by Sunday. We hope that this
new format will work for everyone and you will enjoy the services.
As always space is limited to make your reservations
early.

pet on a leash at all times and to walk dogs only in the designated area. Dogs will not be
allowed to disturb other guests or services. If you can not control your pet you will be
